The Glen Of Aherlow

The Glen Of Aherlow

I hope you will indulge me but from time to time I like to share some of my photography from outside the Phoenix Park with you.

I took this photo recently whilst on holidays in the Glen Of Aherlow in County Tipperary. It’s one of the most picturesque parts of Ireland and even on a wet and misty weekend I still got a chance to capture a few scenes like this one. Who said you can’t take good photographs in the rain eh?

You can now purchase mounted & signed 8 x 6 inch prints of this photograph from my Etsy store by clicking this link. These prints cost only €10 each with free post anywhere within Ireland.

Phoenix Park Competition 2013

Four of my photographs have been selected for this years annual Phoenix Park photographic exhibition.
The exhibition features 100 photographs of the park taken by various amateur photographers around Ireland. It’s an open competition so I am absolutely chuffed to see four of mine getting the nod from the judges.
The entire exhibition is absolutely stunning so if you get a chance then please do drop into the Visitor Centre in the Phoenix Park. You can find directions to the Visitor Centre by clicking this link.

My New Website

I am thrilled to announce my new photography website is finally up and running after many months of hard work.

I don’t like to do things by half so whilst getting ready for my first really big exhibition I also decided to teach myself how to build a website in my spare time. It has been great fun learning how to do things like this, it’s very much more challenging than a blog but it’s close to being finished now.

If you have some free time I would love you all to have a look and maybe let me know here on the blog what you think of it. I am very much open to constructive criticism, or any type of criticism, it doesn’t really matter.

Anyway the site can be viewed at www.davekphotography.com.

Thanks

Dave
