Hi Dave just saw your photo of gas lamps in the Phoenix Park. I have the contract for the service and maintenance. My Grand Father worked on them from 1896 and my Father took over in 1946 and my brother and I Present Day Flanagan Bros Ltd (Now Descanet Ltd . We employ 3 others

Wow, amazing story James. Thats a long time for one family to look after the lights, there’s a book in there somewhere if you ever get the time. You must have some amazing pictures from down through the years, wonderful memories too. Did any of your family ever reside in the park.
